Another round of MENSA
If you have remember, last November, I was invited to take the Mensa exam to see if I’m eligible of becoming part of the world’s oldest, biggest and best known Hi-IQ society. Since I’m curious of what my IQ is, I took the exam and after a few days of waiting, I received my results and the letter which confirms my eligibility in joining the organization.
During our induction ball, I met a lot of interesting people, different sorts of people. We have members who are professionals in their respective fields, bloggers, students, a 12-year old kid (the youngest member), and a jobless slacker.
As part of Mensa Philippine’s undertaking in promoting Mensa, we are inviting you to participate in our Mensa Day (“MD2.22″
this Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Fullybooked, Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City. This is going to be a whole day event filled with learning and fun for the whole public. Activities include talks on entrepreneurship, career management, learning camp for children, and blogging (which will be given by Fritz, Coy and me)
Mensa IQ Challege
Mensa Philippines will again open its doors for new members. Prospective members are encouraged to take the Mensa IQ Challenge during the Mensa Day. Scoring in the top two percentile is the only requirement for joining Mensa. Those interested in taking this test should prepare the following:
- a testing fee of P500 (P300 for students with ID)
- a valid photo ID
Seats are limited so interested parties are advised to reserve a slot online at www.mensaphilippines.org
Mensa has over 200 active members in the Philippines, and 100,000 members in over 80 countries worldwide.

Everyone is born with genius, but most people only keep it a few minutes. – Edgar Varese. And I lost it before I can spell out MENSA. I’m sorry I can’t humor you on this challenge.
I want to join Mensa and Intertel
Congratulations! ^_^
MENSA, MENSA, if I can turn back time, I’ll take your offer. Oh MENSA.
I attended the Mensa Exam yesterday at Fully Booked. I hope I’ll pass the exam. The exam was easy but the passing maybe hard considering the 98 to 99 percentile passing mark.
Badtrip, I did not pass the Mensa Exam. Huhu…
Ang baba ng passing rate last Feb. 22. Only a few passed of all the 180+ who took the exam. 7% lang yung passing rate. And I was included to those who failed.
yes i heard about it. a friend took the exam and did not pass either. so sad
