and to the X, Micamyx, and orbel:

that bird is (like what winston said) very common. They have keen survival skills and are not migratory. Even poachers told me that they have difficulty catching one. If I may say, they are the smaller versions of the Large Billed Crow.

Did-U-Know: You can tell if the area is close to civilization or near-urban if you see these birds. This is according to my uncle from WBCP (Wild Bird Club of the Philippines)

Walang leaves iyong tree. Parang fall season. Siguro very frisky ang mga birds na ito – locked up in a deadly case of fatal attraction. Kaya nalagas ang leaves sa all consuming passion nila. Ay sus, nambingtang na nagproject pa…hehehe. Excellent photograph.
