A Lucky Day

[photopress:by_pic.jpg,thumb,alignleft]Yesterday was a lucky day for me. A lot of things happened to me, despite the stressful time that I had the night before. Speaking of the night before, I did not have any sleep, literally. We were busy trying to work our project out. We spent the whole night creating circuit boards and programming our software. The deadline for our project was yesterday morning.
Luckily (strike 1), we were able to have our project checked by our teacher. We were able to interconnect all system blocks and made the whole system work. Though it was not done yet and it was just an initial check, the teacher didn’t give any criticisms on our project.
After the project thing, I received a call (strike 2) from Ionstorm Software telling me about an orientation activity today. I guess they will treat us for a dinner in a restaurant here in Davao.
Before I went to my afternoon class, a friend texted me asking me about my rates on web development. She told me she will refer a friend who’s planning to get a website for the company she’s working with. Later, the referred friend texted me and gave me the details. I told her I am interested with her proposal. I’m just waiting for her e-mail regarding the web specifications so we can have the project started as soon as her boss gives the approval (strike 3).
During my afternoon class, I received an sms from Loy of the Advanced World Systems telling me that I passed the first interview (strike4). He will schedule a meeting this Thurday to orient us with their company. Wow. I have expressed before my desires in working with their company. I wanted to jump for joy, if only the teacher was not having the class when I read the message.
Yesterday was indeed a lucky day for me. I hoping it will go on today, tomorrow and forever. Hehehehe. ^_^
