Yagit is now an Engineer

The longest week of my life happened last week. It was Saturday and Sunday when we took our licensure examination for ECE at South Western University in Cebu. All of the things I studied in the past 5 years of my life were compressed into two days of four-subject examination. I can say that the exam is very unfair. I know I know a lot things but the examination does not cover it all. (darn those examiners)
Waiting for the result of the exam is even worse than taking the exam itself. As we near the release date, most of us are becoming anxious. Tension is starting to build up. Most of us are nervous. Everytime a cellphone rings, our hearts start to panic. The days after the board exam were hell for us.
(***insert annoyed icon here**** someone downstairs is selling pineapple and he pronounces pinya as pinnneeeeaaa)

I’ve seen them a couple of times in Ayala, few months ago, but I never paid much attention. But I know them. I have read about them on the papers they were giving to the passers by.

Da Vinci’s Pizza in Cebu

After the two consecutive days of taking the review center’s diagnostic examination, my clique decided to treat ourselves with a scrumptious meal. It was decided that we’ll have dinner at Sbarro in Ayala Center Cebu. But Starth, a non-pork eater classmate, was hesitant since most of the meat dishes in Sbarro contains pork. She recommended Da Vinci’s Pizza in Osmeña Boulevard (Jones Ave.) since she had tried dining in the resto before. Then it was decided where we’ll have our dinner.
The place is not strange to us anymore since we get to pass Jones every time we go to our review Center. The place is not far from the famous landmark, the Fuente Osmeña Circle. It is situated at the right side of the Crown Regency Tower, just beside Jollibee.

Buh-bay wrinkles

Injections of botox in San Diego are becoming famous these days. I tried doing a Google search for that phrase and 189,000 results were returned. I have heard of “botox” a lot of times before. It was even used in one of the cartoon shows that I saw (I forgot what it was) where it was called BatOx.
What is Botox?A neurotoxin which, when used in very low doses, relaxes or temporarily paralyzes the contractive muscles which cause frown lines. Treatment is non-surgical in the form of injections which smooth deep persistent lines between brows or in the forehead. Botox paralyzes facial muscles, while Puragen fills in the space beneath wrinkles. Each acts in a different way, but may be used to complement each other.
Basically, based on how I understand it, botox eliminates unwated wrinkles for aging people. Is is safe for the patient’s health? That, I’m not sure.
