I just received a text from a friend asking me if I have tried using Google Pages. I heard about it, read about it but i never tried it. What for? I got my own web space in the web. I got my own domain. I know how to do quick web. I find it useless.
Just this morning, I tried browsing their service. What should I say? Yahoo is loosing their grip on the World Wide Web. Google now offers twice as much as yahoo could offer. The Google Pages’ interface is much better than what geocities can offer. It might not be useful for developers like me. But for people with no ‘technical-know-how’, it’s their passport to the Web.
Here’s a sample of what my friend made.
