I missed blogging

I’ve been away from my blog for a long time. Since I moved here in Cebu, I rarely find time for blogging. It’s difficult for me to balance work, studies and blogging. I was able to maintain my online presence though through plurk, twitter and my aggregate microblog.
For these past few weeks, I kept myself busy with work and studies. I am being pressured from work and studies. I had to stay in the coffee shop the whole afternoon to work on a client’s project which we started while I was still in Davao. It has been a very difficult time for me. I had difficulties in balancing my review and my work. I used a big portion of my study time for work. My review was compromised.
Despite this, I’m still glad I was able to finish the first phase of that project. My colleague also promised that he’ll give me a break from the project so I can concentrate on my review. In fact, the result of the last exam was not bad at all. I was able to get a high score in Communications (…I failed in Math), a lot better than what I expected. I realized I need to exert a lot of effort to catch up.
Aside from work and review, another thing which made me busy was Visayas Bloggers. A couple of weeks ago, we (Kuya Blogie and I) invited all the bloggers in Cebu City for an informal meeting. I can say that the meeting was a successful one. It was the first bloggers meeting conducted to organize the bloggers here in Cebu City. A lot of plans have been set for the blogging community here in Cebu City, one of which is the organization of the Visayas Bloggers Community, a counterpart of the successful Mindanao Bloggers, Inc.. So if you are a blogger from the Visayas Region, please join us in our mailing list.
In an hour, I will be attending the Governor’s press conference. Mr. Wilson Ng invited us to attend the press conference. According to Rio, the governor wants us bloggers to take part in the promotion of Cebu City’s tourism industry. Also, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce is organizing a blogging contest which is in line with a business event next month. I will be posting the details of this contest later.
