Mandaue Business Month Press Conference

I mentioned in an earlier post that I got invited by Mr. Wilson Ng to attend the Mandaue Business Month press conference. The invitation was also open to other 15 bloggers but only a few responded because of some conflicts in schedule. Among those who attended the press conference are Aileen (http://sunchoke.net), Wil (http://misswilhelmina.com), Paul (http://cebudirectories.com), Nick (http://in-indie.org), Arnold (http://cebuheritage.com), and Rio (http://ngkhai.net/blog).
Present during the press conference are the people from the business sector, the media, and Hon. Gwen Garcia, the governor of the province of Cebu. The purpose of that press conference is to formally launch the upcoming 17th Visayas Business Area Business Conference and the Mandaue Business Month.

The first week in Cebu City was very difficult on my part. I’m not used of eating carenderia food. While I was in Davao, I was spoiled with my Lola’s home-cooked meals and food from Davao’s best restaurants. I was not prepared in the sudden change of my lifestyle.
Among those things I miss about Davao are the numerous Inasal restaurants found in the downtown area. Mang Inasal, Penongs, and Banoks among others. Last night, we were able to come across Cebu’s barbeque haven. We didn’t realize that such place lies a few blocks away from our building.

I was able to borrow Kuya Blogie’s laptop for the meantime. I left mine at Kuya Andrew’s place. tsk tsk tsk.
10:15 a.m.
We are currently having our break now. But before this, we watched Brian Gorrell’s video about blogging. Well, in my own honest opinion, I don’t think he’s the right person to talk about that topic.
10:50 a.m.
Karlo of pinoybl ogero.com is now accepting questions after his talk on problogging. According to him, he’s earning around a thousand $$$ a month from blogging. Also according to him, his earnings are not taxable.
11:00 a.m.
Juned is now discussing photoblogging. I should listen now.
He’s now giving some information on what equipments to use when engaging into photoblogging. He also provided some URLs where photo bloggers can get tips on photoblogging. He also showed some sample photos.
