Mandaue Business Month Press Conference

I mentioned in an earlier post that I got invited by Mr. Wilson Ng to attend the Mandaue Business Month press conference. The invitation was also open to other 15 bloggers but only a few responded because of some conflicts in schedule. Among those who attended the press conference are Aileen (http://sunchoke.net), Wil (http://misswilhelmina.com), Paul (http://cebudirectories.com), Nick (http://in-indie.org), Arnold (http://cebuheritage.com), and Rio (http://ngkhai.net/blog).
Present during the press conference are the people from the business sector, the media, and Hon. Gwen Garcia, the governor of the province of Cebu. The purpose of that press conference is to formally launch the upcoming 17th Visayas Business Area Business Conference and the Mandaue Business Month.

The first week in Cebu City was very difficult on my part. I’m not used of eating carenderia food. While I was in Davao, I was spoiled with my Lola’s home-cooked meals and food from Davao’s best restaurants. I was not prepared in the sudden change of my lifestyle.
Among those things I miss about Davao are the numerous Inasal restaurants found in the downtown area. Mang Inasal, Penongs, and Banoks among others. Last night, we were able to come across Cebu’s barbeque haven. We didn’t realize that such place lies a few blocks away from our building.

On Hiatus next week

Now I’m drifting. I can’t think of anything to blog. Hahahhaa..
I might be on another hiatus next week. Is this to give way to my busy schedule. (hahahah). Nope. I will be again away from the modern civilization for three days starting Wednesday. My clas will be having a retreat. I am given no choice but to go. No computers. No internet (just my phone). No going home. That’s one hell for my techy life.
What else? Hmmm…. Alleba Politics made a reaction regarding my previous post. Ate Ria asked for a copy of the recently released issue of the Atenews. It’s a single sheet tabloid size special edition intended only for the issues on the injustices of the Ateneo OSA.
Lastly, don’t forget to vote for the Pinoy Evil Blog Awards. You must register first before you can start casting your vote. My campaign manager, Kuya Andrew de la Serna, is already taking care on promoting my nomination. Hahahaa.. And Jehzeel too, who happened to be one of the organizers of the said award.
