The e-Bay Store

My Acer 3680’s power button got broken last January. It thought it was the end for my laptop, Naomi. But I was wrong! (I’m glad I was wrong)

A couple of nights ago, I tried searching eBay in the hopes that I can find a replacement for my Acer Aspire 3680’s problem. I did not fail, I was able to find a replacement. In fact, I immediately bought the item using PayPal. The item will arrive in a month.

The Acer Service Center

I already approached the local Acer service center before but they said the damaged part is not available locally. They suggested that I leave my laptop in the service center until the ordered part arrives. But I did not agree to their suggestion. My laptop still works despite of its broken power button. Leaving my laptop in the service center for weeks (or months) would be hell for me.

I also e-mailed the service center in Manila but I did not receive any response. I have to ask Jehz to call their Manila number and ask for the availability of the broken part. According to Acer, they do not accept orders from individuals not unless another authorized service center makes the request. Arghh.. and that was the hopeless case of my laptop these past few months.
