Hisense Bluetooth Headset

It was only a few months ago when I started using a bluetooth headset for receiving and making calls. I have owned a bluetooth headset before but I primarily use it for listening to music. I love the freedom from wires.

I started using my Samsung mono headset after a friend gave it to me as gift. It was a timely gift. My current work demands the need to make and receive calls. Similar to the freedom that the stereo bluetooth headset gives me when listening to music, I love the freedom of not having the need to place the handset on your ear.

A few weeks ago, our friends from Digital Hub sent me the Hisense HB200M bluetooth headset which I was able to use for a couple of days. It’s slightly bigger than my Samsung HM1000 which is why I still prefer using my Samsung over Hisense. One thing I quite like about the headset is its color. The guys from Digital Hub sent me a red one which matches the color of my company issued BlackBerry. It’s pretty cool! I heard these things come in different colors. Better pick the one that matches your phone’s color. ;)

Aside from BlackBerry, I have also tried pairing the HB200M with my Macbook Pro, Samsung Galaxy S2 and BlackBerry 9900. I never had problems pairing and connecting the HB200M to these devices. However, I noticed that a lot of people are having problems pairing their bluetooth headsets with their devices. My suggestion to you is to read the manual. Different manufacturers have different ways of implementing the pairing process. It’s all in the instruction manual! Pairing the Hisense HB200M in some devices, like my BlackBerry 8520, will sometimes require you to input a pairing code. Use ‘0000’ when asked.

One thing I like the most about the Hisense HB200M is its extra accessories. It comes with a necklace with a magnetic pendant where you can attach the body of the bluetooth headset. When not in use, you can actually use the headset as an attachment to the magnetic pendant. It’s also a bluetooth necklace!
