I want to meet bloggers from Cebu
While I was still in Davao, I heard a lot of stories from bloggers coming from the Visayas region on how they envy Luzon and Mindanao, particularly Manila and Davao, when it comes to offline blogging activities. It was also last month, during my first week in Cebu City, that I met Mark Monta and Kevin Ray Chua where we talked regarding our plans of organizing the bloggers in Cebu City. It was also a week after when a blogging friend, Beejing, invited me for an EB at Ayala (we were not able to meet).
Because of this, Kuya Blogie and I talked about the idea of inviting Cebu bloggers for an informal meet-up. Kuya Blogie is coming to Cebu this June 27. We will be hanging out at Bo’s Coffee Club in Osmeña Blvd at 2pm on June 29. It’s a couple of blocks away from the Capitol. It will be great if we can share some time on this day. All bloggers are free to join us. I want to meet you, really. 
Please come and meet other bloggers here in Cebu. It will be great if you could tag along some blogger friends.

though i’m not from cebu, i just wanted to comment on how EBs have evolved. when i was younger, meet-ups were organized via walkie-talkie short-wave radios, then chatting and texting became the norm. what i like about blogging is that you get to know more about the people you meet before you meet them through their blog, which gives you some point of connection, at least

it’s a good thing that activities like that promote a healthy blogosphere environment. i would have loved to join any get-together among bloggers in the future. count me in next time.
