My iBlog 4 Experience
This is the second time that I’m breaking out of my urban primitive life, a.k.a. I-can’t-find-a-decent-internet-connection-in-the-big-city. If you have listened to Ate Ria’s talk on Countryside Blogging, you’ll understand how it feels for a provincial blogger like Batang Yagit (who lived in a city where FREE wifi is available 24 hours in most parts of the metro) to be deprived of decent internet connection for almost a week.
In my own honest opinion, the iBlog4 even turned out to be a success for both bloggers and organizers who took part in the event. Most of the topics discussed in the whole event were quite significant for me. My personal favorite would be Ate Ria’s talk on countryside blogging and Kuya Juned’s talk on photo blogs.
I was also able to meet a few of my online friends. The first who greeted me was Kuya AJ of BaklaAko.com. Karlo PinoyBlogero was also nice that he approached us on our seats before his talk started.
After Ate Ria’s talk, I felt like my whole Batang Yagit online image received a 180-degree change. Coy even said that I should change my name to Batang Maykaya. Ate Ria even mentioned that the Batang Yagit attends wine and cheese parties. My reaction, LOLS. I can now hear Carlo Aquino screaming, “Akala nyo lang wala, pero meron, meron, meron“.
The 88db party was also fun for me. The “come-as-your-blog” gimik of the 88db.com organizers made the night more exciting. I envy the chicken who received the PSP. I should have brought my fellow street urchins to cheer for me. Tsk tsk tsk.

Waw. you really came there as batang yagit. Astig~! Sayang ang PSP. Pahuli natin yong chicken at baliin ang kanyang mga pakpak para hindi na xa makapaglaro ng PSP. Harsh?! Hehe. Kidding. Congrats.
