Nama Sakana Japanese Cuisine

Yayks! I’m back on blogging. Don’t ask me what happened cause I don’t know either. Writer’s block hit me big time. I’m not even sure if I can cope up with my blogging schedule. Anyway, last Wednesday night, the Patay Gutom bloggers (not the Ople type) went out for a food gimik at Nama Sakana Sushi (ナマサカナスシ) in Greenhills.
Patay Gutom Bloggers Fitz, Mica, Jehz, Yagit and Maki.
Jehz and I arrived late after we got lost in Annapolis. We had a hard time looking for Connecticut Street since we haven’t checked Google Maps before heading to Green Hills. The Nama Sakana Sushi Restaurant is located at G/F Fox Square Building, #53 Connecticut Street, Greenhills, San Juan City, Metro Manila. If in any case you want to visit the resto, please use this map below:
I love Japanese Food. 日本の料理はおいしいよ!That’s why we were so thankful to the management of Nama Sakana for inviting the Patay Gutom bloggers for a one night feast.
Jehz and I were not able to catch up with the group since they were already finished eating their main course when we arrived. Instead, our host offered us a set different (I’m not quite sure) that what they have served with the rest of the group.
For our appetizer, they served this Sashimi Salad. It’s a mixture of greens, seared tuna and vinaigrette sauce as its dressing. This Sashimi Salad is one of the restaurant’s best sellers.
The main course is a must try. They served us with Beef Tobanyaki. It’s a mixture of beef cuts and different types of mushroom cooked in its special sauce. The combination of the different types of mushroom resulted to an array of mouth watering flavors. This one’s my personal favorite.
They also served us with six different types of sushi. The sushi didn’t stand out much since I got so overwhelmed with the Beef and mushroom dish.
We were already full when they served us with the dessert. Our dessert is a cheesecake topped with cream, mango and caramel.
After the dining experience, the host led us to the restaurant’s second floor where the Nama Sakana Music Bar is located. They also have special rooms for Karaoke.
In conclusion, the Nama Sakana Sushi Japanese Restaurant surely lives to its purpose of giving its customers exquisite Japanese cuisine. In fact, I will be coming back to get another serving of that Beef and Mushroom dish given the chance that I’m within the vicinity of San Juan City. The total ambiance of the place is also appropriate. The music bar upstairs gives its customers a completely different experience at the same level of service the restaurant offers.
The Nama Sakana Sushi Japanese Restaurant, Ramen House, Grill and Music Bar is (again) located at

Greenhills, San Juan City,
