Celebrating V Day

Happy Valentines Day to everyone. And for some, it’s Happy Singles Awareness Day!
The company sent me this cute little bear and one chocolate bar yesterday. Each of us in the training center received a similar gift.
I already celebrated V-day last night. Together with my officemates, we went …

Few weeks ago, I launched a mini SEO contest for the members of the Cebu Bloggers Society. It was a short competition and most of those who participated were new to SEO. The general objective of the competition is to populate the search engine results page for the keyword “Bisdak Blogger”.

It’s Facbook fever again. It seems like everyone from Facebook is creating their own Fan Page. I have created one yesterday for Batang Yagit and I was very happy to see that a lot of my online friends added themselves as fans of Batang Yagit.
As of this time, Batang Yagit now has 63 fans. Weee..

Some Other Things
As usual, I’ve been keeping myself busy with work these days. Nihongo is giving me a headache. I failed my first JLPT mock exam and got the passing mark on the second. *sigh*
All of my officemates learned about my online life after the Manila Bulletin’s Blog-O-Rama was published. A few of them are searching for my online stuff, my blog, some videos of me in youtube, and some other things about me which I am not aware they exist. It was also yesterday when they told me “Uy, marunong ka palang kumanta? Nakita namin ang video mo sa youtube. ”

How old are you when you started eating veggies? What was the first vegetable you ate? Were you forced by your parents to eat veggies?
We were having dinner at F Word resto in Makati when Mica started the conversation about kalabasa. We were served with Pakbet Soup which reminded us on how we, when we were still in our childhood, started eating the child-friendly kalabasa.
Batang Yagit on Blog-O-Rama

“Q & A with the ‘Batang Yagit’” was the title of Miss AJ’s Blog-O-Rama article last Monday. I didn’t know that my interview with Annalyn will be coming out last Monday. I only learned about it when she replied in one of my plurks while I was having my lunch in the office.
“hi. lumabas yata article mo today ah”, Annalyn said.
I did not hesitate at once and I immediately rushed from the 26th floor to look for a newspaper stand outside our building. “Batang Yagit” is in the national daily paper. Wooohooo! I was ecstatic that day.
The Xcelerator — Asia’s best Zipline
January 10, 2009 | Filed under: Davao
The guys from Avatar started the year with an adventure. Last January 3, together with Kuya Blogie, Ate Ria and Kuya Drew, went out to see (and try) the Xcelerator.
I have tried Camp Sabros’s Zip Line weeks ago when we went their with my shutter friends. I thought at first that it’s the country’s longest but not until Ate Ria told me about the Xcelerator.
Taking into account Batang Yagit in the previous year

Here comes again the time of the year wherein we have to assess our failures and accomplishments in the previous year. We also need to thank the people who helped us achieve those accomplishments and stayed with us during those times of failure.
As for Batang Yagit, the 2008 has been a very fulfilling year for me. A lot of things happened to me both on my life as Batang Yagit and on my life as an ordinary person. It’s also notable that there are more accomplishments than failures for me this year.
Zip Line and Photography at Camp Sabros
December 24, 2008 | Filed under: Davao
Aside from shopping and wrapping gifts, do you know of any good activity to do during the holidays? I know one. Yesterday, my photography hobbyist friends and I went to Camp Sabros in Kapatagan, Digos, Davao del Sur. We figured out that the place can make a good spot to take pictures since it’s situated at the foot of the country’s highest peak, the Mt. Apo. Aside from being a good spot for photography, Camp Sabros also has the country’s longest zip line. For a few hundreds, you’ll get to try their 400-meter zip course which crosses the pine forest on the foot of Mt. Apo.
Shake Mo! Blog Mo! Bloggers Event
December 21, 2008 | Filed under: Events
Last December 10, several bloggers were invited for TV5’s Shake Mo! Blog Mo! Bloggers event at Chili’s in Greenbelt 1. I went to the event with Mica since her office is a few buildings away from ours. We received the invitation from Myk, whom I first met at the TMX event in Batangas.
TV5, which is formerly known as ABC5, showed us some of their new programs for season 2. Though I don’t watch TV much, I was impressed by the quality of their shows. TV5 is seen to be an aggressive network in terms of formulating concepts for the Philippine Market. This can be proved after TV5, after they started only a couple of months ago, garnered the third spot in the Philippine prime time’s audience share.
