Ala-ala ng kabataan

Noong araw, hindi kami pinalalabas ng bahay ng lola namin tuwing umuulan, habang ang mga kalaro namin ay nasa labas, naliligo at nagsasaya. Ayaw niyang naglalaro kami sa ulan, baka raw magkasakit kami. Kaya sa mga panahong ito, kailangang mag-isip ng magagawa para hindi kami mabored ng husto. Ilan ito sa mga ginagawa namin noong araw.

Ipit na robot Ipit na eroplano

Hindi ko alam kung ginagawa ito ng ibang bata. Pero napagtritripan namin ang mga ipit sa sampayan ng lola ko. Ginagawa naming robot, eroplano o di kaya ay building. Iba ang kasiyahang naidudulot ng ipit na robot kumpara sa robot na gawa mula sa lego at mega blocks. Palakihan ng magagawang robot ang trip naming magkakapatid. Pinag-aaway namin ang mga robot na ‘to hanggang sa masira. Pagkatapos, gagawa na naman ng bago na sasabak sa labanan ng mga kampo.

Adik na ako kahit noong bata pa lang ako. Kung anu-ano na ang pumapasok sa isip ko, at ginagawa ko rin naman ang mga ito. Ginawa kong bus ang mga upuan namin sa dining room. Ginawa rin namin itong bahay-bahayan ng kapatid ko. Nakapaglaro na rin ako ng putik. Gusto ko kasing gumawa noon ng cake mula sa putik. Nanghuli rin ako ng butete dahil inakala kong isda ito, malusog lang kaya ganun ang itsura nila. Di ko inakalang tutubuan pala ng mga paa ang mga isdang iyon.

I attended the job fair in Ateneo this morning. Though there were lots of companies who attended, I wasn’t able to find a good one for my field of expertise. I was there mocking their human resource personnel on how poor they represent their company.
