Palawan Tour and Accomodation
The past week had been really awesome after we got invited to experience a portion of Palawan. It was my first time in Palawan and it turned out really really great. What made the trip more exciting was the company of popular travel bloggers like Ferdz, Eric, Melo, Anton, Dong and Mica. I’ve been to different places with my blogger friends but it was my first time to travel with professional travel bloggers. Awesome isn’t it?
A van sponsored by Ellen’s Travel and Tours brought us first to different Puerto Princesa tourist destinations (Lawiswis Organic Shop, Mitra’s Ranch and Baker’s Hill) before we headed out to Microtel Puerto Princesa.

Microtel Puerto Princesa
Microtel in Puerto Princesa is also the first that I have tried among the eight different Microtel hotels in the entire Philippines. I was able to visit the Microtels in Baguio City and Davao City but I never had the chance to stay. Microtel is the only beach fornt hotel in Puerto Princesa and it is accessible through a 15~20-minute car ride from the town’s center.

Our Hotel Room
Our hosts gave us a two-bed suite which will our home for the next couple of days. Among the in-room amenities that are being offered are two queen-size beds, hot and cold shower, satellite television, towels and toiletries, and a veranda fronting the beach.
I managed to take a not-so-sunrise photo on our last day from our room’s veranda.

For techies like us who can’t get away from our online life, the hotel offers free WiFi access at the hotel lobby. Forgot to bring a laptop? No worries since they can also let you use their lobby computer for your internet needs.
The management and staff of Microtel Puerto Princesa sure did a good job in making our three day stay in Palawan comfortable and relaxing. They sure live with their thrust in providing international standard of hotel service at the most reasonable price. On certain days, Microtel offers tour packages at discounted rates.
