MTV Emerge is the newest project of MTV Philippines and the Department of Tourism which gives opportunity to local music talents to get their works discovered and recognized. The top seven bands/individuals who will emerge as winners in the competition will be given a one year recording contract from Apl.de.Ap’s (of the Black Eyed Peas) Jeepney Music.
