Monday: Transport Strike, Work and Food

I decided I’d do a five-post series about my last five days in Davao. I’ll be leaving for Cebu this Saturday and I want to keep track on how I will spend my five remaining days. It’s Monday. There is a nation-wide transport strike going on. I can somehow see its effect. The city government deployed buses to replace the public transport. But I’m glad there are taxis around.

Honeybear Chicken House

Last Saturday was a very stressful day for me. I was in our office and facilitated the examination given to the Kalasagers. After the exam, I had to endure the whole afternoon sitting and interviewing them. Thank God, a food haven awaits me after that stressful day. I arrived late in Honey Bear but that didn’t keep me from having a great experience with the food they served.

Taj Minar

I was (again) lucky to avail the free lunch from Taj Minar last December 29, 2007. It was the second leg of the Davao Food Trip organized by Kuya Blogie of Ang Dabawenyo.
