The Loalde jacket is mine
It has been a crazy day for me at work. I have deadlines to meet and lots of work that needs to be done. The headache I had the whole day made it even worse.
Late in the afternoon, our company had an inter-”Dev Group” caroling competition. I was one of those who were forced to sing despite the fact that the actual performance was also our actual practice. Nonetheless, the whole activity was fun and embarrassing.
After work, our team went out for dinner in Paseo Center. It was a bit odd because free dinners from our bosses does not usually happen in our company. In my mind, I was thinking of possible reasons behind it. ^__^
If you’ve seen in my previous post, I was eying on this jacket that I saw last weekend in Loalde – Glorietta. Guess what? After our dinner this evening, I decided to get the jacket. Since I have an advantage of being a frequent customer of Loalde, the staff was kind enough to give me a 10% discount. 
Last thing before I end my post. I failed to announce last night the winner for last week’s Fill-in the Bubble Thought Contest. After picking my own choice and letting my friends pick their choice, we have decided to give the Schützen® Notebook to Boffill Bernardes.

Hallooo, Winston! I don’t think I’ve ever joined your contests. Anyways…when I was a student, notebooks were the run-of-the-mill kind: spiral or bound, plain colored covers, ruled paper. Boring! How I wish I were a student again now, what with all the amazingly colorful and beautiful notebooks around. So maybe I want to win this notebook so I can finally own one that I never had before. At least I’ll have one as nice as the ones my 2 girls carry around.

i spent the last two years in college using electronic notebook. i store my notes in my laptop. but i used to collect notebooks when i was in highschool

I hope to win the notebook! I think 2010 is the year for me to get right back to learning how to write legibly again. I have relied on electronics for the longest time that I cannot even properly do my own signature!
Now that I am homeschooling it will be a pitty to teach my kid how to write well if I ain’t good at it.

My handwriting was known in our office to be one of the more beautiful ones. In fact, they’d get me to write on cards, posters,etc. Now, with no practoce, it’s like chicken scratch. Maybe a notebook as beautiful as this will inspire me again to write well.

I collect notebooks because i need them for many purposes: blogging, writing my literary stuffs, thesis notes, research, even drawings, etc… I even keep all the notebooks I have used in the past decades.

Oh, I also use it for my classes – lessons, daily agenda in classes, preaching in church service. i love writing down notes. I prefer doing it than recording notes in digital form. Hope I win

I want a decent notebook for a change, not one of those calendar diary thingies that I’ve saved up for years.
My ipod touch is great for a lot of my activities but notetaking on it is a real pain. One thumbed typing to take down what a lecturer is saying is torture. Hope this notebook will be my other companion.
My first thought when I saw this post: What is a Schutzen notebook? Yes, everyone commenting here knew what it was and I had to google it first. Now that I know, I WANT!
